Me as a Gem

How could I not do this? My real-life name is Ruby, after all.

So, here is me as a Steven Universe character; Ruby! My Gems are located in my thumbs, specifically replacing my thumbnails. So, they are basically activated by giving thumbs-up! The weapon that appears is a sort of ax-hammer; smashy on one side, slicey on the other. I'm a little taller than Amethyst and Steven, but so much as Pearl and Garnet.

Speaking of Garnet, this was tricky because her base colors are shades of red... which is also ruby colors. I tried to make it work. Also, pardon the orange and yellows; my hair is actually blonde, so I decided to add it in, and besides, it mixes up the reds a bit. I decided to leave the skin white because it off-sets the red and yellow/orange, and making it pink or some sort of light-red would look odd to me. Ha, if I was going to make it accurate to my real skin-tones, it would be a rainbow of super-pale skin that turns deep brown. I don't burn in the sun, I just turn darker and darker, but I also have intense lines from where my shirts and shorts block sun. Since Gems aren't human (except for Steven who is half), I figured my skin could be blue or green or whatever. I think the white sort of works.
